How to check your CIBIL score?
There are different ways to read your CIBIL Report. Follow these steps to make the process easy
CIBIL score:
The CIBIL score is the most important to read in the report. It is a three-digit number expression issued by a lender to reflect a person’s creditworthiness throughout the loan application process. The three digit range is usually 300 to 900, but it sometimes shows NA or NH because of the following reasons:
- No credit history.
- No credit activity in the recent few years.
- No credit exposure, and all new credit cards
A CIBIL score between 750 to 900 can be considered as good score. Banks and Financial Institutions like Zap Money offer quick personal loans for people with good CIBIL scores.

Employment information:

Account Section:
The account portion contains the user’s details and is a crucial section for the lender to declare the CIBIL score. Based on the user’s previous and current status, the lender assigns the CIBIL score. This section includes a table with your lender’s name, kind of credit product, ownership type, account number, date of account opening, personal loan amount, date of last payment, outstanding balance, and a monthly payment history.
The column includes DPD (Days Past Due), which shows the number of days a payment for an account is past due. The most attractive values in this column are STD (Standard) or 000 (zero), which indicate that the payment is not past due.
Any other value indicates that the payment was late. XXX indicates that the credit bureau has not received any payment information for the account in the preceding few months. Similarly, a value of 030 indicates that the account payment is 30 days past its due date.
Red Box:
A red box shows an issue in the account information, which appears above the account details. In the CIBIL report, you may notice a red box next to the field in question. It can be returned once the issue is resolved.
Enquiry Information:
The enquiry area contains information about any inquiries related to credit applications. For each inquiry, the lender checks your CIBIL score to learn about your credit history. Too many queries make the lender assume you are a risky borrower.
